Video captures Ocean City, Maryland fireworks detonating in truck near boardwalk

An employee from the fireworks company suffered minor injuries and refused to go to hospital, Fox 5 DC reported. 

No one else was injured, according to police.

“Prior to the fireworks being off loaded from the vehicle, fire marshals secure a safe zone around the fireworks and put other safety protocols in place,” police explained. “It is this very zone and safety protocols that kept anyone else from being injured.”
