Wisconsin police arrest suspect wanted for deadly shooting at Kenosha lakeside bar

Police in Kenosha, us-regions have arrested the suspected gunman Sunday they say is behind a gruesome shooting that left three people dead and 3 other victims hurt. 

Officials say the suspect will be officially charged with one count of first degree intentional homicide with additional criminal charges to follow pending further investigation.

In addition, authorities said there is “no threat to the community at this time.”

The bullets went flying in the early morning hours Sunday at the Somers House Tavern, a bar near the shore of Lake Michigan known to be a popular hangout spot among the Carthage College community, according to the Kenosha News.

The sheriff’s department previously said the shooting appeared to be a “targeted and isolated incident.” The suspect was described as a black male over six feet tall wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt. 

Police confirmed that the shooting has resulted in at least six confirmed male victims, three of which have been pronounced dead and three of which that have been taken to a local hospital with gunshot wounds.
